Black with 2 again..................

I have time to play again over at Black With 2 and this time it's yellow and fabric for the criteria.

I went with an artsy look for this page and wanted to do something different to my norm with having the title away from the main part of the layout.

And to be honest, it's annoying me, but I like it. I am so stuck in my ways of having the title amongst or near the main focus of the page, but that is why I am doing these challenges to push myself outside of my norm with using Black!!

I used sewing pattern paper behind the photo which was a yellowish colour and have used fabric for the rosettes.

More time for playing................

This page is so very different for me.

I hardly ever use bright colours, but I had fun with these colours with the black and white photo of Montana and Lachie.

This is for Scraptivations and it is inspired from an inspiration pic they have on their site.

I was inspired by the colours and the straight lines in the photo along with the word YOU in the rug and the shagginess of the rug {hence the distressing and torn paper}

I'll be back there to play again!!

Again I've used my new yummy Lily Bee Alphas and my new Bella Blvd sticker alphas which I am very much in love with both at the moment and have been on probably every layout since I've received them.

Once upon a Sketch.............

I came across this challenge blog Once Upon A Sketch and loved the sketch for this month.

I love these photos of Montana showing 2 of her facial expressions. Her Angry face and her Happy face.

She has plenty more but these are the only ones I can get on camera. She won't let me take a photo of her normally but I snuck these ones.

I just loooooove these papers from The Girls Paperie.

Soooo pretty! And girly!!

I just had to do it and this is what came about..................

I've used a mix of Pink Paislee and The Girls Paperie with a Memory Maze butterfly and Maya Road chippie bird.

Stuff 2 Scrap................

I've never played over here at Stuff 2 Scrap but liked the look of their sketch this month.

And the prompt was "all about me".

Well, my daughter is so like me with a lot of things, but this photo really sums up my creative side and it coming out with her.

This is what I came up with.............................

Using one of my fave brands, October Afternoon, Kitty Robot button, with the yummiest discovery of Bella Blvd sticker alphas. I am so in looooove with the alphas!!! A 12x12 sheet of 4 different styles.

I'm off to get me some more of those yummy alphas!!!

ARTastic - Keep enjoying the small things...............

I haven't played along with ARTastic for a while!!! I just haven't had time to play with any challenge!!!

BUT I did this week.

I am making sure I am getting some ME time in this week because next week is FULL ON!!

The painting for inspiration is gorgeous and reminded me of these times with Montana.

I really love this photo and it reminds me to stop and enjoy the simple things in life and wishing that I could still do that and how much I would love to.

Black with 2.....................

Weeeelllllll, I don't do purple or any hue or shade of it. I just can't!

I really seem to struggle!!!

I don't know why!

I'm not a fan of the colour so maybe that could be it.

BUT I did have a go for the Black With 2 challenge this month.

I wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone with the whole BLACK thing. {I struggle with that too.}

So this is what I came up with...............................

I'm happy with it. Not overly though.

BUT I had a go!!!

'Birthday Girl'......................

Let's Get Shabby entry..................

It's been so long that I can't remember the last time I entered Lets Get Shabby.

Their challenge was to use Beatrix Potter for inspiration. Well, I was inspired by her drawings of cute little bunnies so I just had to scrap this pic of Montana with her much loved bunny.

This photo was taken about a year and a half ago, but she still has the bunny and it's not quite as pink as it is in this pic.

I just wanted to do some shabby this weekend and this is the result I got...........................

I used Websters Pages papers with the bunnies on them in keeping with the theme of Beatrix Potter. Prima flowers and alphas, Kaisercraft flower, gorgeous doilies from Tallulahbelles.

Sorry for the dark pic, it's been overcast here all day.
