Scrapware DT work............

These are some of my work using Scrapware products.

These are the only ones I remembered to take photos of. I still have to catch up with Ange and collect the rest of my work.

Have a great day!!

Busy has now slowed to comfortable.............

Good Morning!!

Yay, I am finally updating my blog AND scrapping again!!!

The past few months have been so Up and Down!

Montana had Pneumonia about 6 weeks ago, followed by a bladder infection and is now fighting her second bout of Pneumonia!!! Poor little possum is really suffering this winter.

It's been busy at work too with all the staff being sick, so I'm called in to cover.
Plus I've been training to do The Stampede!!!

How CRAZY am I!!!!
But it looks like so much fun from watching the video on last years.

In my scrapping world there have been changes also.

Scrapware sold and they no longer have a Design Team.

My local Scrapbooking shop closed down a week ago. That was so sad. So that design team work has come to an end.

I haven't scrapped much at all. Except for some letters I did for  a friend last week that I loved so much that I am going to put them in my Pretty Poppies online store on Facebook. I am yet to put them in my Etsy store of the same name.

And also in the Pretty Poppies store I have my owls that I have handmade. They all have a name AND a personality.
One, Ruby,  has been donated to Bons' ride to conquer cancer auction page
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fundraising-auctions-for-the-200km-Ride-to-conquer-cancer/199489833492855

So that's it for this post. I'm off to scrap!!!!
Have a great rest of the weekend!!

Mad About Scrapping, KIU, Scrap Boutique & 123 Challenge.........

Here are some more pages that I've scrapped recently.

This one was from a sketch from Mad About Scrapping.
When I first looked at it, I saw a boys page, but wanted to do a girls page {even though I should really do some more pages of my son.}
I am really happy with the end result considering I saw it more for a boy page.

Kraft It Up had a great challenge this month and this is what I ended up doing for it.

This one is for Scrap Boutique Scrap Stash Challenge. The challenge was to use 6 or more brads on your page. I clustered them on mine and have a lot more than 6, but it was so much fun!

And the 123 Challenge which I haven't played along with for a long time, but loved the criteria this month.
Colour: Blue, Word:Change, Technique: Washi Tape

And this one is for White with 1 June Challenge. White, pale blue and flags.

Well that's it from me this week.
I finished 2 projects today and I'll share with you in the next few days.

Till then................
Happy Scrapping!!

Bec

Scrap Therapy fun.........

I have been so busy scrapping lately and haven't popped the creations up in here.
So here they all are. Well, what I've done with the Scrap Therapy challenges for this month. Love them!

This one was for the Room Challenge and I was inspired by Room 1. You can't see the hints of gold all that well, but I used a Rub n Buff cream and just rubbed it in small amounts over the page and the embellishments.

This was also for the Room Challenge using inspiration from Room 2.

Thanks to Julie's sketch this month that I got this one done.

And this one I did using the A-Z Challenge using the letter 'G'

Hope you are all scrapping lots!!!

Till next time.............

Wanna Tissue?...................

And the last page for the month is for Scrap The Boys...................

I crashed a retreat.........

Wow! What a weekend I have had!!!!

On Saturday I crashed a retreat for the day and met so many lovely girls. I got to see Marelle and Eb again and I finally got to meet this gorgeous funny girl......................

I arrived about 11am and had plans on leaving about 10pm, BUT I left about 1.30am!!!!
AND I scrapped!!! 4 and 1/2 layouts!!! Quite surprising for me. So this day was really productive.
There were laughter and tears, lots of new ideas, new techniques seen and lots of inspiration was just oozing around the room. All the girls were just lovely and made me feel so welcome. Thanks Mal for squeezing me in for the day!!

Here is the first page I did there called 'The Crew' using Echo Park.....................

And this one 'Gramma' was from a sketch at the retreat using Authentique & Studio Calico........................

'Ultimate Slalom Spray' was a blind scrap and I used a mix of a Polly Scrap kit which I loved.................

And when I got home I was so inspired by what I'd done and being around all those very talented women that I kept creating.
This one is for Scrap The Girls for April.................................

When I got home at around 2am, Montana was crying and running a temp of 41.3, while hubby was snoring. So thankfully I got home when I did. But I ended up sitting up until 4.45am waiting for her temp to come down.

So a very exhausting weekend, but oh so worth it!!!!

I am definitely going next year!!

And this one is a pink spotty button used here on my 'Girly? Not' page.

So pop on over and see what other products Scrap Elegance has up for sale and pop back in for the Sale in May.

Global Scrappers...........

The challenges are up over at Global Scrappers and here are my samples for.............

Manufacture Challenge..............

and Shabby Challenge...........

So pop on over {you do need to register to play along} and see what the criteria are and play along with us for great prizes!!

Scrap Elegance pages............

I've been a bit quiet lately haven't I?
I cannot believe things are so full on at the moment, that I haven't had time to blog!!
I haven't scrapped for about 4 weeks which I have really missed. But with Easter in the middle there, we were away for a week and plus the school holidays AND I re rolled my ankle which in turn has done no favours for my back!!! Argh!

AND I've been teaching classes!!! Last week was fun with a girlfriend and 2 regulars of my classes.

My back is still not pain free which has made it hard to sit for too long to scrap. But I have managed 1 layout last night and 1 layout this morning for Scrap Elegance for the next sale.

I hadn't posted these ones yet for the March sale for Scrap Elegance so I thought I'd pop them up before the next sale and my next samples.

The vinyl and doily fan is from Scrap Elegance and the gorgeous buttons and metal leaves.

The gorgeous mouse button is from Scrap Elegance.

Shame the misting didn't work all that well on the 'my lil squeaker' page and it was meant to be an orange colour. It looks brown here.

Hopefully I can sit back down again today and do some more pages as I have the house to myself and Montana. The boys have gone up to the holiday house to wire it all up for lights and power points ready to plaster next week.

Have a great weekend!!

Busy! Busy! Busy!

We are finally now in a routine with my son back at school and my job finally cut down to 1 day a week, as well as getting the all clear from the doctors last week that I am infection free and healed up after my surgery 5 weeks ago.

Phew!

Anyway, I'd better get on with it because there is a fair bit I want to show you.

Kaisercraft Hummingbird Collection.............

This is my cover for the A-Z challenges over at Scrap Therapy.......

And this is the page for 'V' for this month............

And I've taken on another thing to do for the year. A 52 week album. A page about each week. I started it after seeing some pages of Kayla's over at Polly Scrap Kits. This is the cover........
I have to catch up with my pages. {oops}

I've recently just joined the team of Scrap Elegance and have loved playing with their products. These next 2 pages were my first for the company to promote the Sales Events they have every month..............

Aren't the buttons just adorable!!!

And a little bookmark.......

This was for the Shabby challenge.........

Scrap It With Attitude is a group on Facebook who have challenges, but it
is mainly people getting together, chatting, showing off their pages, asking
scrappy questions etc. It really is a lovely group.
This page was for a challenge to use circles and twine and it won second..........

Oh it's the 29th today, so that means today is the last day to get your Scrap Jacked entries in.
If you miss out, thats ok, a new challenge goes up on the 5th of March!!!
