December Daily Album.....................................

This is what has been keeping me busy.

I didn't go with traditional papers, but I fell in love with the Webster's Pages papers. And to be honest, their papers make it so much easier because they are already like a collage.

Few things I haven't done, but I will do them once I put the photos in, and they are:

*embellishments
*dates/numbers (so I can switch the pages around to suit the amount of photos on any day)
*the backs of the pages. I don't know if I will cover them or maybe enlarge a favourite photo of the day to a 6x8 and put it on them or maybe leave it for journalling or even include them in the days.
*sewing (I'll do it after the photos are put in.
I have only shown you some pages, not all of them. But so far I have 21 pages. I would also like to use a photo for a page (6x4) and journal & embellish on top of the photo.
Still undecided with a few things.

These long pages I am thinking of using to journal about gifts received for the kids or I might use tags tucked into a pocket on a back page.

So there's my album.

I have never done one before but have always wanted to.

I just can't wait to start it!!

Scrap The Girls looking for new Design Team too!!

Our gorgeous girls who are currently on the team will be finishing up their duties at Scrap the Girls at the end of January. So that means we are looking for a new creative team! Of course the current girls are very welcome to re-apply also :) There will be six positions.

If you would like to be a part of Scrap the Girls, it is very easy.

* One layout a month, which must be emailled to me before the 1st of each month

* Advertise the scrap the girls challenges on your blog or regular forum whenever you can!

* Vote for your favourite layouts at the end of each monthTo apply for the position you must......

* Complete the November and December scrap the girls challenges

* Email me a short bio of yourself and why you would like to be on the Scrap the Girls CT
* Please include a link to your blog (if you have one) and any current Design Team or Creative Team commitments
Creative Team entries must be emailled to me by the 20th of December!!!
Successful applicants will be notified by email on the 10th of January, and those who make the team must have their February challenge sample pages done by the 31st of January 2010.

So yes, my time is almost up on this wonderful blog too!

Sooo sad to say goodbye to both blogs.

I have had so much fun and it was great to be given something to create something beautiful from. It really was great to be challenged.

That Scrappy Girl blog challenge...............................

This was my end result of a sketch challenge over at That Scrappy Girl.

I was quite happy with no title and no journalling. Just the date was enough for me.
I loved the end result I think because I am in love with Cosmo Crickets Early Bird line.
I am yet to play with the Earth Love (it's still sitting nice and pretty in the pack, but I am hanging out for their Nutmeg line!! I can't wait!!
