I really had a lot of fun doing it. I loved putting the album together at the beginning before December started, but loved it more putting the photos in and finishing it.
I will be doing one again next year!

If you did one, let me know. I'd love to have a look at how you did yours.

Till then,

Keep creating!!

Christmas 2009

Here are some quick pics from our day...........................

This is one is a pic taken through the eye piece of my son's new telescope he got for Christmas. I am soooo amazed by the definition of the craters on the moon. I was blown away looking at it and surprised at how fast it moves out of the shot and we had to keep moving the telescope to see it.
We had a great day. Although it was very tiring. It was here this year and I did all the cooking and preparations as well as baking all week for Christmas gifts. I'm so over cooking!!!!
But I did get very spoilt from everyone. Hubby got me a Graphic Tablet I've been eyeing off for a while. I haven't had a good chunk of time to have a good play with it yet.
Anyway, I will be back soon with my finished December Daily album. I am really happy with how it turned out, I just have to take the pics.
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas Day and were very spoilt like me, and are enjoying the recovery with lots of leftovers. I hope you are getting time to be crafty too! I haven't, but will be making time very soon for it!! I am having creative withdrawals.
Have a great day!!

This one was for Scrap The Girls November Challenge

Scrap The Girls December Challenge

This was for Picture 2 Page Blog Challenge for November. Go check out there blog. They have some great challenges every now and then.
These next 4 are from the Qtea Kits for November

This was a little something I wanted to do

This was for A Million Memories

And so was this one. I had to use inchies, which I'd never done before, so hence the quite non creative use of them

Oh, and some news has been revealed. Check it out here.
Thanks for all your lovely comments. I love reading them.
I will be back with some Christmas-sy things that I've been working on.
Have a great week!!
Happy Creating!!

Christmas Wreath..........................

When I can see a project planned out to the end in my head, I have to keep going with that and nothing else until it's finished.
So here is the culprit this week........................

Approximately 35 rolled roses in the wreath.
Boy that was time consuming and testing of my patience. But I'm happy with the end result and it's going proudly on the front door soon.
It was soooooo easy though. Very soothing and relaxing doing it too.
The papers were only 1 sided, so I glimmer misted the backs with a red (can't remember the name right now) and the same with the front to get a deep red on the patterned side. The leaves were folded and inked to get a vein like look in them. I just added string pearls for a bit of highlight.
If you do have a go at doing one of these, leave me a link so I can have a sticky beak.
Oh and if you are doing a December Daily or something similar, leave a link for that too, so I can have a look.
Thanks heaps for all the lovely comments.
I love reading them!!
I will be back soon with some other things I've been doing. But first I have to make Tana's dresses that have been sitting there cut and ready to be sewn.
Have a great week!!!

December Daily Album.....................................

This is what has been keeping me busy.

I didn't go with traditional papers, but I fell in love with the Webster's Pages papers. And to be honest, their papers make it so much easier because they are already like a collage.

Few things I haven't done, but I will do them once I put the photos in, and they are:

*embellishments
*dates/numbers (so I can switch the pages around to suit the amount of photos on any day)
*the backs of the pages. I don't know if I will cover them or maybe enlarge a favourite photo of the day to a 6x8 and put it on them or maybe leave it for journalling or even include them in the days.
*sewing (I'll do it after the photos are put in.
I have only shown you some pages, not all of them. But so far I have 21 pages. I would also like to use a photo for a page (6x4) and journal & embellish on top of the photo.
Still undecided with a few things.

Stamped transparency

Another stamped transparency

These long pages I am thinking of using to journal about gifts received for the kids or I might use tags tucked into a pocket on a back page.

So there's my album.
I have never done one before but have always wanted to.
I just can't wait to start it!!
Come on December!!!
