My first publication!!!!!

I subbed to Scrapbooking Memories for the first time a few months back and they accepted 3!!!
The first one is in this latest issue, number 9 on page 41.
And it got a whole page as it was on the gallery opening page!! How exciting!!!

My other 2 are going to be in issue 11 with something else I've done and I feel quite chuffed about it.

I've been grinning from ear to ear since I received my copy last week.

What I've been up to lately..............

I know, I know!
I've been missing a bit this past month. With the Retreat, both the kids birthdays and just life being way too busy for me in August!! My goodness!
But I'm back and I've been scrapping for myself and for Scrap Therapy.

This past month the theme has been all about Handmade. Everything handmade.
So I show you how to make several flowers in my challenges.

This layout shows the flower I've done a tutorial for. If you want to know how pop on over to the Scrap Therapy blog...........

This layout was done using the sketch for the Scrap Therapy Cybercrop Sketch Challenge.
A pretty easy sketch............................

This is for the current Kraft It Up challenge for August.
The criteria is Kraft, green, yellow and black...................................

And these last two pages are using the Monthly Sketch at Scrap Therapy and the Monthly Theme of Handmade.
If you want to have a go, you have until this Thursday midnight to get your entry in.....................

That's it for now.

See you again soon and have a great week!!

Bendigo Mini Retreat.............

What a weekend!!!

It was great to catch up with old and new friends and have a bit of fun while we were at it.
I started getting sinus on the drive up to Bendigo, so I wasn't much fun at all over the weekend. I only got 2 layouts done!!!
I just sat there chatting and watching and peeking at what everyone was doing and if anyone knows me, they will know that I just love to watch people. My scrapping friends also know that I don't get much done when we all get together to scrap either. I have been known to go home with 1/2 a layout done!!!
Maybe I don't create well around others. LOL

Anyway, here are some pics of the weekend......................

The jumping pillow at the Park where we stayed.
I wasn't too sick to have a go at this and I'm so glad that I did. It was soooooooo fun!! I felt like a kid again and I didn't care!

My friends and room mates.
At night, we were in fits of laughter watching myself and a friend try to climb up to the top bunks, delirious with lack of sleep.

Brunch in a gorgeous wine bar/cafe in Bendigo.

Being like tourists exploring the gardens.

And a fun shot!
I was so annoyed that I forgot my tripod. I could've taken some shots to prove that I was there!! LOL

Anyway, fantastic weekend, even though I was sick and not as sociable as I normally would be, but great to catch up with great friends.

Thanks girls!!
