Crop For Kids & some layouts............

Wow!! What a day.
It didn't start off all that well with Montana waking up early (3am) screaming. I think it's her teeth. We finally got back to sleep about 4.30am and I thought I would just get a quick nap in. I had to leave around 9 as it was going to take me an hour to get there.

When I woke it was 9:50. I jumped up, had a shower, luckily I had packed my scrapping stuff the night before.
I think I left at 9:30 and arrived at Crop For Kids about 10:30. I walked in just behind Narelle and Bon, so I didn't feel so bad being late. I have never been to this before and I hate being late for anything. But since meeting DH, I seem to be running late for everything. I hate it.
Anyway, the day was great. I met my favourite scrapper who had come over from Tasmania for work, but was lucky to get to come to the crop. She is so lovely and was everything I expected her to be. I didn't get to talk to her much though because I was busy trying to get at least one layout done!! You all know what I am normally like.
But she liked my work!! I was estatic that she had said that. From someone whose work I totally idolise and think is just gorgeous and love every single piece that she has done. That really made my day.

Lee-anne and her husband came down from Cairns, so I got to finally met them.
So yes, I got a layout finished!!! Well 2 actually.
Here is the first one......................

giggle
(Cosmo Cricket - Girl Friday, Kaisercraft Bling word, Fiskars Sunburst Punch)

stuck!
(Bazzil cardstock, MyMindsEye PP, Basic Grey sticker alphas, Kaisercraft Rubon Flourish)

Sweet as a Cupcake
(noteworthy PP, AC foam thickers with added Kindy Glitz, Prima & Kaiser flowers)

The last one is for Challenge 1 at Scrap Therapy's Cybercrop this weekend. Some glitter, crystal clear seed beads or something that looks like sugar and the word SWEET in the title somewhere.
I am hoping to get some others done, but will just have to wait and see.
At the CFK's, I won a hamper from Overall Being. In it was a beautiful blanket, incense, burning oil, stickers and a Bella Pet Scrap Pack. I forgot to take a photo of it before I pulled everything out.
I also purchased a few goodies from the Trash and Treasure table. Lots of bargains were there.
But it was a great day all round. I will be going back next year.
