ST MBM, DT's final challenge, blind scrap and more

Here are some layouts done recently.

This one is my Make Believe Masters Challenge #2 entry. Criteria was a double layout with more than 5 photos. I don't do doubles and this was a real challenge for me, but I am happy with it I think.

This is from a Blind Challenge from ages ago at Scrap Therapy. Just very plain but with a really deep hidden journalling tag tucked away.

Just a page I really wanted to play with. Love the vintage look of this paper and had to scrap a photo of my grandmother on it.

I got another new toy and I looooove it!!!

OMG!!!

And how excited am I!!!

Bought it on ebay from the US because I could not find any here in Australia. And what I did find was stores that had them, sold out and were getting more in, in a few weeks. But I wanted it NOW! And it didn't take that long to arrive. Probably about a week I'd say. And I'm still waiting on 3 packages from Etsy!!! Go figure.

I've had this for about 4 days now and I haven't even used it! That is so unlike me. Honestly, I forgot about it.......................until I saw it again. So I will be scrapping tomorrow night as DS has Scouts tonight, and I will use it then.

Scrap Therapy's Make Believe Masters - Challenge 2 is Up!!

Challenge 2 appeared today at Scrap Therapy for the Make Believe Masters Competitionhappening there.
I'm a bit scared about this one as I don't do Double layouts. I think I have done 2 in my scrapping life!! Not a big fan.
So, I will leave it a couple of days and think about what I want to do.
Anyway, here is my Challenge 1 entry for the MBM at Scrap Therapy.................

I have scrapped my little butt off this week and now I need some down time to think of something for Challenge 2 of the MBM and I can only do this either while driving or trying to get to sleep. My ideas flow better, easier and sometimes wilder in these times. Crazy ideas sometimes!! LOL

Kittyrobot now have vouchers!!

Kittyrobot are a store on Etsy that make their own range of buttons. Now, they aren't your normal buttons by any means. But they are just soooooo adorable. I am in love with their shop.
I have bought from there before if you remember this post. I got the buttons and love love love them!! I haven't used any yet, because they are just so gorgeous, they need a really extra special page.
But I will make that on the top of my TO DO list to use them soon.

Anyway, they have gift vouchers now!!
What a great idea!!! I will have to tell DH, well I'd better SHOW him how to order them for me. And the great thing is they start at $5 then $10 & $20 and if you want one for a larger amount, then all you have to do is ask them.

Go and check them out!!

123 Challenge...............

And my first ever entry into the 123 Challenge..........................

Method Playground - Glitter

I found a challenge blog, Method Playground, focusing on using different techniques in each challenge. I thought I would give it a go.
The criteria was to use a bit of glitter and make an embellishment.
So I did this.............................


The green ribbon along the bottom has Kindy Glitz dots along it and the heart flourish on the left has been glitter embossed although it's not showing up really well in the photo.

Wow!! Have I been busy scrapping.
It's been too cold out in the shed and since I went to Lisa's, I haven't unpacked my tote or boxes, so they have stayed inside, where it is warm.
It's been easier too. As soon as dinner is over and Tana is in bed, I can sit straight down to scrap. Even through the day I can leave it on the table and look at it when I walk past to get more ideas.
It's great!!

What a week!!......................

I will pre warn you all that this post is pic heavy.
I've been busy scrapping!!! Yay!!!

This one is only a sneak peek of my Make Believe Masters Challenge 1 entry, over at Scrap Therapy. I am so excited about this challenge.



And this one is Edna, my grandmother. This is for the Monthly Theme Challenge at Scrap Therapy. We had to showcase a special lady and use buttons.

This is another for Scrap Therapy. For the Inspiration Challenge for the month.

I have been going back and doing some old Blind Scraps at Therapy as I find these really quick and easy to do. And I get enough time to do one when Montana has her afternoon nap. If she has one.

And this is the most recent one run by Mandy on the 17th May. I really love how this one turned out.

Well on top of all this scrapping, I have had DS8 and DD9mths both with the flu and DS8 with tonsilitis on top of that. So it hasn't been the most pleasurable week. I'm sending him back to school tomorrow.

He is jumping on his bed..........so I think he is better.

I've also been frantically trying to clean this tiny little house!!!

No, we don't own, Yet!! We rent. And what we rent is a tiny 3 bedroom house, 1 bathroom and the kitchen is so tiny, we don't have an oven!! Just a little conventional oven on the bench where a microwave should go.

So, if it's so tiny, why is it taking me sooooooooo long to clean it, scrub walls, clear cobwebs, wash windows blah blah blah you know the rest that goes with all that!! I feel like I have been doing it for 2 weeks!!

We have an inspection on Friday. Just so the real estate can relay back to the owners, that we are suitable and not wrecking the property. Yet we know the owners personally and we have been here for almost 5 years. But still the real estate want to check it every 3 months.

How frustrating!!! And yet DH isn't the most helpful. He will come home, plonk himself in front of the TV and say "I've been working bloody hard all day." I feel like telling him to swap jobs with me for a day, or maybe even a week. This week. And see how he copes doing the housework and looking after 2 sick kids who in turn are the clingiest and sookiest kids when they are sick.

AAaargh!!!!

Another quick post..................

Here are some cards that I have made over the past week for Mothers Day and birthdays.


This is a little notebook that my mum wanted, she hasn't seen it, but she said that's what she wanted. I used Webster's Pages and used my Bind-It-All for the first time!! It was so easy to use. I didn't take a photo of the inside, but this is just the cover. I have put an extra piece of card on the back page so that they can slip in the last page of a note pad when they use it up and need a new one.



This is a card I did for Dad's friend's birthday.

And another card for Mothers Day using My Minds Eye (which is the Manufacturer of the Month over at Scrap Therapy this month and are discounted. The new range, Breaking Free is gorgeous and aimed for young children as well as the teens. Just gorgeous!!)

I sort of have 3 mums. An ex mother in law (my son's grandmother), my mum and a woman who looked after me when I first went to Qld when I was 19. So there were 3 cards I had to make. Unfortunately, I posted 2 of them and forgot to take photos.

This is my mum's mothers day card using Basic Grey Bittersweet and Blush and I think Porcelain (the white)

I promised myself to sit down and do a proper post, but I might do that later today. There are a few things I want to put in here, so they are down and I don't forget them. For example Montana's progress.
