The Colour Room & Kraft It Up..........................

Well I've found another new site and the welcoming page is just soooooo pretty!!

The Color Room.

It uses colour palettes for their challenges and their first palette has an optional sketch with the colours pulled from a photo of a girls bedroom for inspiration. Just gorgeous.

So here is my interpretation.................................

And this one is for Kraft It Up using a monochromatic theme and I went with cream colours.............................
That one was a little hard to photograph because of the overcast and cold weather we are having at the moment.

Candy Shoppe Designs.......................

I stumbled across this blog and thought it was a great challenge. Candy Shoppe Designs.

But when I went looking for a funny photo, I couldn't find one. I guess I've just deleted them.

But I did find this one of my cat which I think is funny.

We had not long got the fish and she had never seen them before.

She looks like she is in the fish tank, but she is actually sitting behind it.

I've been scrapping up a storm the past few days.

This one is for Method Playground and the criteria is to create your own flower embellishment/s.

I used hessian, paper (in the centre of the bottom flower) and a crochet lace.

I've already started my Easter photos. I did another Easter one with multiple photos using the WIOIN 'Year In Review' March layout. I really liked the layout so used it for the multiple photos of Easter.

This one was for a surprise challenge I set over at Scrap Therapy for the March theme "Everything Green". I went down the recycle path and set a challenge for everyone to get out one of their first ever layouts and recreate it to their style now!

Wow! What a challenge it was and what great results everyone had.

This layout was my after, but go over to the thread and you can see my before. What a difference.

Bit late, but Happy Easter!!!

Don't you hate when you've blog hopped that much that you run out download usage and your speed is soooooooo slow!!!!

Well thats what I (and hubby) did last month. Terrible isn't it!

So I've had no speed to upload anything to my blog! But it all came back this morning so here is a few catch up posts!!!

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter!

We had a fantastic day and weekend. The family came over Sunday morning for the Easter Hunt, which mind you, I have never done with my own kids!

My parents never did that for us. We just woke up with all our eggs on the ends of our beds.

So I started a new tradition for us with the Easter Hunt.

Here is a little chicken that my SIL made using a cupcake. Isn't it just the cutest!!!

This is where we ate our lunch. Such a gorgeous day........................

These are little carrot gift boxes I saw on the Cosmo Cricket blog filled with Choc Sultanas and Peanuts or Jelly beans in Montana's.

This was when she found all the 'wows' and sat down for a feast!! She didn't know what they were and just unwrapped them and put them back in her basket.
So Happy belated Easter everyone!!!!
