OLW #54 - GOOD

Here is my entry for One Little Word. This is my first time playing along. It was a quick one I did this afternoon. Very plain.

Method Playground

At Method Playground this week is to use tissue, tissue paper, toilet paper, serviettes any type of tissue.
I did 2 layouts because I had 2 ideas.

This first one I did a paper cast method of a Glimmer Mist mask of a gate. Using layers of toilet paper it moulded around the mask and gave an impression of it. Then I just inked it to make it stand out more.

I also used tissue paper under the flower for a bit of texture and depth.

And this one I layered single layers of tissue over Basic Grey alphas using a decoupage glue stuff. I love the effect.

Using WIOIN Kits

Just playing last night and did these 2 layouts.
The first one is using the Mother Nature Kit from WIOIN




And this one is using Prima's Flirty Little Secret - Coy. The paper was busy enough as it was, so I didn't want to add too much more. But I really liked how it turned out.

I haven't entered White with 1 for a long time and I just love the colour red, so I did this layout for this months red and white with brackets. It's all out of the Girl Embellishment Kit from What's Old Is New.




And this one I did last night also and this is out of the Mother Nature Kit from What's Old Is New. If you want to have a look at What's Old is New, there is a link on the right in my sidebar. I really couldn't be bothered adding a link right now, although I normally do. I have a migraine coming I think. :o(

I just love working with their kits. But you have to be quick to get them. They sell out soooo fast.

Rolling in Lace.............

What a surprise when a box arrived from the US with all the laces that I bought last week!! Extremely fast postage I must say. The price of the lace was amazingly cheap and thats why I went a little overboard and spent way too much, but look at all, it was all worth it!!!
I can't wait to play with it!!

I can't wait to order more!!

I've been a bit sceptical about things actually arriving that I've bought from the US. I've placed 3 orders on a handmade site and only 1 arrived. The girl even said she sent a second parcel, but that didn't even arrive.

But to have this lace sooooo quick and sooooo cheap, I'll be placing another order soon.
