I am a shocking blogger...December Daily...Scrap Jacked

Wow! Wow! Wow! Over a month since I last blogged!!
Bad Girl!

Grab a cuppa for this post as it is a long one and photo heavy.

Within the past month.................

I've dealt with 2 sick children. My eldest shared his gastro with his sister a week after he began and he had 2 hospital visits and my daughter had one. What a horrible fortnight that was!!!

We've been camping up at our 'soon to be' holiday house that we are in the process of building. So lots of fishing, jumping on the jumping pillow, marshmallows on the fire and just a lot of relaxing. We cannot wait for Christmas when we can go up there for longer than a weekend!!

I did and this is who I was with. Montana. And I was at work, so I ran into the next room and

grabbed a photo.

I finally had a chance to start my December Daily for 2011.

This will be my third one and every year on, I am loving them more.
Here is my cover which I designed and cut out the shape myself from chipboard {inspired by the gorgeous Mandy's December Daily Album}

And this little dress form I picked up from the 'Book Man' at work. You know, the ones who leave a bunch of books for people to order??

It's a jewellery hanger/storer/organiser and I mentioned to the girl I work with, that I would love to transform it. {She's a cardie/scrapbooker so she got where I was coming from. hehe}

So far I have ripped off the dress and sprayed the whole thing white, covered the body with tissue paper.

I will show you some more photos as I go.

I designed the cover shape myself and cut it out of chipboard. I used one of her Gift Bags from her presents as the cover and painted over it to dull it down and make the little fairies stand out more.

Purple Pumpkin & Lime Tree Creations................

I've been able to scrap some more this week, even though I'm back at work already.

Here is my page for the Purple Pumpkin sketch this month!!

These are photos of me on my Uncles horse when I was about 2 or 3 years old. The page looks like it has a blue cast but the base card is actually a grey.......................

And this is my page using the Lime Tree Creations sketch for the month of October.
The photo is of Montana having a try at doing buttons. I just love the focus and the concentration..........................

I have had some time to scrap this month after so long with just doing DT commitments and when I saw the sketch for Lil Red Rocket I had to play along.

Scrap Therapy & my LSS - Picture 2 Page..............

I loooooove Blind Scraps but I hadn't played along for a very long time over at Scrap Therapy.

The gorgeous Mandy did a Blind Scrap last week and a friend reminded me so we played along. Although the girls were probably waiting for me to finish the step so they could move onto the next one, I must be out of practice, it was so much fun. Thanks Mandy!!

Sad news for Sassy Lil' Sketches.............

I've been on the Design Team for Sassy Lil' Sketches for 2 terms and have loved every minute of it. The sketches are fantastic and the girls are gorgeous.

But unfortunately Cherie and Kate have decided to close down the sketch site at the end of October, due to their lives just being so busy. Which is totally understandable as my life gets out of control at times.

So what they are doing is putting up a sketch a day and calling them 'send off sketches'. And the prizes are the new Ebooks full of sketches from Sassy Lil' Sketches.

What a past few months................

It's been so busy here.

I was working 5 days a week to cover for someone, I started a new job (and boy that was scary. Something totally new to me in the Early Education system.), Paperific here in Melbourne was a blast, but I'll share all that event later.

Ok, Ok, it HAS been a while................

CRAZYYYYYYYY!!!

Thats what my household and my life recently has been.

The school holidays were busy and I have been working extra, extra hours at work to help out.
Then with all the after school activities and the kids birthday's next week, I haven't had much time to do anything.

Argh!! But I've got time today to update my blog and I reeeaaallllyyyy have to set aside a time each week to update it regularly.

Some news...........................I am on the Scrapware Design Team!!!! Yaaaayyyyyy!!!

I am so excited about this. Ange, the owner is just sooooooooooo lovely and her products are just devine. And anyone that knows me and my scrapping desires, know that I just looooooove to do Off The Page projects and Scrapware has the most gorgeous OTP products as well as chipboard and alphas.

I've just completed something for Scrapware for Paperific here in Melbourne in August, so I can't show you just yet. You will have to come and visit the booth!!!
