My Litte Star Performer......................

My son had his school production last Thursday night and boy was it a late one!! 10.30 it finished. So he had the next day off school
But he did a fantastic job!!
Considering that in Prep he sat and cried when he was to do a class performance for about 10 parents.
He has come such a long way and he loooooves performing.
It was called Suessical The Musical based on Dr Suess' Horton Hears A Who

Wow!! I am the ScrapTherapy Make Believe Master 2009

Well, the Winner of the Scrap Therapy Make Believe Masters 2009 was announced last night. It was so exciting.
I won 2 of the 5 challenges and the overall winning place also.
So I am now the 2009 Make Believe Master at Scrap Therapy.
What a comp it was. The quality of everyone's layouts and work was amazing. Every single layout was unbelievable and stunning.
It was a great comp and lots of fun.
Unfortunately, the gorgeous Mandy handed over the crown, but I am so happy to be following in her footsteps. I mean, to be up there at her level just amazes me. I never thought my work could ever be that good or that appreciated as much as I adore her and her work.

Our American Bulldog

I'm just posting these pics of our beautiful dog Buster for Maria to see. He is an American Bulldog (not the Johnson, I can't remember what the other type is) and is just the most gentle loving giant. He is 10 and has cancer, but you would think he is a puppy with his puppylike ways sometimes for example, tearing up a cushion he found in the shed into a million pieces all over the front lawn. He can be such a lazy boy lately with the cold weather. But he is a great guard dog and very loyal. He is also gentle and great with the kids (11months & 8 years old)

Ok, I know I posted this in the last post, but when I was looking at it on the screen it wasn't right. Something was missing. So I fixed it. I'm happy with it now. Just the colours in the photo are a bit off.

Let's Get Shabby & My Mind's Eye

Well I finally had some time to do a layout for Let's Get Shabby.
The picture gave me the inspiration for the colours, layers of lace, and the feathers. What a fun challenge!! I can't wait for the next one.

Scrap Therapy MBM #5

The 5th and final challenge is up at Scrap Therapy for the Make Believe Masters.
I've had so much fun with these challenges and it has really challenged me and my thinking. I like being different so trying to think of different types of ways of scrapping really stretched my thoughts.
Here is my last entry.........

DS goes back to school tomorrow. 2 weeks has really been too long for him this time.

I hope everyone's children all go back to school without any hassles.
