I'm teaching classes..................

Yay!!! I am sooooo excited!! and nervous.

I will be teaching at Picture 2 Page in Lilydale, Ph: 9739 7299

Here is a sneak peek of the first class called 'Diva' and it uses Websters Pages and hand made flowers from the millions of paper flowers you have laying around in your scrap space. As well as technique using paper and water as ribbon.
I will be teaching this class on Wednesday 7th March at 10am and the cost is $20 which includes all materials for the page.

Busy! Busy! Busy!

We are finally now in a routine with my son back at school and my job finally cut down to 1 day a week, as well as getting the all clear from the doctors last week that I am infection free and healed up after my surgery 5 weeks ago.

Phew!

Anyway, I'd better get on with it because there is a fair bit I want to show you.

Scrap It With Attitude is a group on Facebook who have challenges, but it

is mainly people getting together, chatting, showing off their pages, asking

scrappy questions etc. It really is a lovely group.
This page was for a challenge to use circles and twine and it won second..........

Global Scrappers & Polly Scraps.....................

The new Manufacture Challenge is up at Global Scrappers!!!

And I because we couldn't go anywhere for the Australia Day weekend because I still wasn't feeling up to it after surgery, I played along over at Polly Scrap Kits and the Polly Party!!

One of the challenges was to have a play with Chevron patterns.
I created this....................................

A little something I've been working on...........

I've got a few things on the go at the moment and this year is the year to finish what I start.
I have had a few little mini's that I've done the covers but haven't progressed any further. This one though wasn't sitting for long though, along with my Werribee Zoo & Mansion mini's.

This little Maya Road House album I transformed for our little Holiday House we are building. So the album can't be finished until the house is finished, but I can work on it slowly like the house.
I've done it in the colours that we'll be painting and hopefully furnish the inside with.
Grey with white trims and pale yellow for the inside wall/s.

I can't wait to print out the photos from when we first got the land to the stage we are up to now.
I am going to have some scrappy time on my hands to get my projects up to date.
I finish work in a week and I have cut back my days to 1 day a week to spend more time with the kids and time to keep the house maintained.
Plus I am heading into hospital in a few hours and when I get back in a couple of days, it will be strict rest for a week.
So plenty of time to scrap!! {if I'm in the mood for it}

365 +1 in 2012............

Who is participating in the taking a photo a day in 2012???

I did it last year AND completed it. Just a few near the end to add in.
I use Shuttercal.com to upload all my photos into and it was so easy. Even using the Iphone app made it so much easier to participate in.

But, this year, I wanted to have a hard copy so the kids could look through it.
So I made up these little 7gypsies book covers which are a little smaller than a 6x4 photo.

I plan on one photo per page with patterned paper on the back complimenting the opposite page's photo. On the patterned paper, I plan to journal what the photo was about, where, when and why.

So more like a story book.
I will have the day number or word on each page or photo. I haven't decided that yet.

I've been good so far even though I haven't been doing much due to a rolled ankle last week and doctors orders are REST IT!!
I was able to scrap all weekend so finished my December Daily and starting this.
I know it's going to get a lot fatter than what it is now, so may have to replace those gorgeous binding rings to larger silver ones or ribbon.
The button on the cover in the camera lens will act as an 'anchor' to hold the book shut with some elastic coming from the back cover.
